Anjeer Shake / Smoothie Recipe
| Ingredients | Quantity | Notes |
| Dried Figs (Anjeer) | 4-5 medium pieces | Use dried figs, not fresh ones. |
| Milk (Chilled) | 1 cup | Use full-fat milk for a creamier shake or a non-dairy alternative. |
| Sweetener | 1 tsp Honey/Maple Syrup (Optional) | Figs are naturally sweet, so you may not need extra sugar. |
| Nuts (Optional) | 4-5 Almonds or Walnuts | For extra nutrition and crunch. |
| Flavoring (Optional) | A pinch of Cardamom Powder | For aromatic flavor. |
| Ice Cubes | 2-3 (Optional) | For extra chilling. |
step by step recipe
01
- Cut the dried figs into small pieces.
- Soak the fig pieces in about 1/4 cup of warm milk (taken from the 1 cup total) for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour. This makes them soft and easier to blend. For best results, soak them overnight.
02
- Transfer the soaked figs (along with the soaking milk), the remaining chilled milk, optional sweetener, nuts, and cardamom powder into a blender jar.
03
- Blend the mixture until it is perfectly smooth and creamy. If you like a thicker shake, add 2-3 ice cubes and blend again.
- If you prefer a thinner consistency, you can add a little more chilled milk.
04
- Pour the Anjeer Shake into a glass. Garnish with a few small chopped fig pieces or nuts, and serve immediately.
